Let me try to address all of the replies I have received in this post.
First, I was referring to the DC resistance when I mentioned 10 ohms.  The
plate impedance is about 6300 ohms.  The circuit utilizes two 810 triodes in
parallel.  The existing plate choke has been very warm and I am trying to
discern if it is still usably and at the same time I'm searching through my
junk box to see if I have a substitute in case it's no good.  The existing
choke is 5.8 mh at 1kc according to the manual.  However, that's all the
info the manual gives for the choke.
