Hello to group.

this amateur would be grateful for some professional advice!

I am designing a bandpass filter for a homebrew radio.
I am using both ELSIE and the AADE filter design programs.
I have specified the input and output as 50 ohms.

The schematic that is generated by the design programs has a 50 ohm resistor
at the input and output.

Question:  are these  real resistors that must be included in the components 
on the board,
or is this  just representative of the impedance on either side of the 
filter  by the rest of the radio?

Your advice is welcomed.
