Hello and thank you for the helpful suggestions so far. I have decided to
try a simple  setup to start testing of a 20p cap in series with a .244uH
 coil. I will again sweep through 60 to 80 MHz with my signal generator and
 watch the output on my scope.
 If I get a reasonable result I may also build the parallel sections as
 well, spread apart, well isolated with tin partitions, and the inductors
 all at 90 degrees to each other.

 I ran the inductor and cap values both on ELSIE and on AADE Filter Design
with good looking results.

 I shall report back, and again, thanks for the helpful input.
