[HomeBrew] Homebrew Eq. of Ameritron ALS-500M?

I would like to ask everyone's help in deciding about homebrew amps for
mobile.

I think the HomeBrew mobile amp in June 2006 QST page 39, etc. would be
great if I could get my 13.6 batteries up to the necessary 50 volts for
this amp.

I guess Amewritron uses a supply voltage of 13.6 for their 500 watt mobile
amps, though.

I there any homebrew equivalent of the Ameritron ALS-500M?

Any ideas?
