My Rockmite 30M just arrived the other day. I hope to have it up and running
by next week. Please keep me informed as to how you like it. I'll do the
same. Are you aware that there is a Rockmite group at Yahoo? That's the
place to go if you want to know about mods, improvements, etc. I'm building
mine pretty much stock at first. The only thing I'm adding is some sockets
for the crystals and the output transistor/resistor. I know I'm going to
play with those. What kind of a case did you use?

I did QRP years ago back in the late 70s and early 80s. I decided to buy
something I can setup in a little carrycase and give me a good excuse to get
out in the air when the WX improves. I understand that there are many ways
to go on QRP rigs. This one was so inexpensive I just had to give it a try.
I figured 30M would be a great band to pay in the day when the sun is
shining. Keep in touch Loren.
