Hi,
If interested, please read descriptions carefully.
I have the parts from an old Eico signal tracer 147A signal tracer that I've
parted out. Normally I'd have left it intact because it worked, but it was
VERY scruddy and had seen much better days. This was an "extra" unit that I
used down at the shop, I have a very nice Knight Kit Signal Tracer that I use
here, and wouldn't part with for anything.
Anyway, Here are some "parts" that should prove very useful for a homebrew
project. The unit had 4 tubes, 6X4, 6AQ5, 12AT7 and 1629 "EYE" tube, so the
power transformer should power just about any Regenerative Receiver or other
small tube project you can concoct
(including a QRP transmitter). Here is the list of parts I'll include.
1. Steel Chassis, NO rust, 9x5x2.25 inches. Front of chassis is only 1.75
inches high while the back side is 2.25 inches. It is punched for two 7 pin
tube sockets and a 9 pin socket, front panel is punched for four "controls"
(volume etc). IF you use silicon rectifiers this will hold a nice 3 tube
project with lots of elbow room.
2. Power transformer to fit above chassis. separate 6.3 Volt and B+ center
tapped winding. Not sure about the exact rectified B+ Voltage, but I seem to
remember it was around 250 Volts, with sufficient current to handle the above
listed tubes (with a 6X4 rectifier).
3. Nice audio output transformer for P/P 6AQ5 tubes (the signal tracer used
only half of this for it's audio stage, but was set up to allow it to be used
as a substitution transformer for P/P audio sections).
4. NOS (New Old Stock) 3 section can electrolytic that fits the capacitor
"punch-out" in above chassis. This has been recently "reformed" and tests
fine, but being NOS I can't warranty it. It has the following electrical
values. 50uF/475VDC, 18uF/475VDC, 40uF/25VDC.
5. Three black phenolic tube sockets with grounding lugs (two 7 pin and one 9
pin).
NOTE: If you need any other "HARD TO FIND SPECIAL ITEMS" for your project,
(tubes etc) JUST ASK. 'IF' I have them I'LL TOSS THEM IN WITH THIS SHIPMENT,
PROBABLY at no extra charge. How can you beat that offer?
PRICE: Asking for $25.00 which INCLUDES priority shipping to any CONUS
address (the items all fit in a flat rate Priority Mailing Box).
