Hi Ray,

Check www.elecraft.com.

They have a tiny, excellent quality set of paddles machined for, I 
believe, their KX1 portable CW rig.

That would get you started with some decent paddles at least. They thread 
in so they can be installed and removed quickly for transport, are 
angled, and you can invert them for angle to the left or angle to the 
right as you prefer.

Can't help on the keyer, but certainly others can.

Sounds like a neat project!
