[HomeBrew] keyer circuit for mobile use...

I am looking for a simple electronic keyer circuit which I can build into a
small case about the size of a band aid box, including the battery and
paddle.  I would like to install it on the center console gear shift lever
of my car.   Don't care about iambic or memory.  I just want it simple and
suitable for mobile CW.

Does anyone recall such a circuit or project?
