FYI (and no complaints here about the rates asked herein)....FWIW, 
one can send books and the like using the US Postal Service 
"Media Mail" to any US address.  One pound for $1.42, 2 pounds 
for $1.84, etc.  Delivery time is usually about 1 week or so.
"Delivery Confirmation" is available for an extra 55 cents.
(Add to all of that the cost of a bag/box the product goes in.)
