[HomeBrew] External battery supply for laptop

Hello homebrew,

I've seen DC-DC adapters that will boost 12v to 15-20v for laptops.
Radio shack has one and you can also find them on ebay. This way, you
could use a regular 12v battery/pack and easily recharge it.
