The first site below will give you the tables to use for various size
toroids and the material to use for various values of inductance. The
second site will show you how to wind air core coils to achieve the
large value of inductance. You can purchase small quantities of toroids
on the web I think it is W?8DIZ - I think he calls his web site gagets
and things. He is very reasonable in price and quick service. Anyway
try W8diz, WD8diz, etc and one of them will find his site.

Hello, I've been trying a few designs for radios, and i have only been
able to make inductances below 2.5uH.
I would like to build 22uH and 150uH inductors, and haven't been able to
get it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
