I really appreciate the replies and info. I will look up the 3 tube amp in =
ARRL stuff I have access to.
The fact that a 3 tube 4CX250 amp has been done is very encouraging. I =
plan to use the amp 10M and below.=20

John, I will send you some publisihed plans for 2 tube amps. May be of =
some help in using the one you have.

Jim, I was especially glad to get your reply--you are the nice ham who =
gave me lots of Command Set info and guided me through the conversion of a =
BC-457 for 30M a few years ago.  I ended up using mixer keying as you =
suggested and the rig has a beartiful tone and no clicks or chirps. Many =
thanks.
