Hi John
I only received the following two replies.
>From Dick W5TA:
A commercial version available assembled or in kit form is available at:
http://www.mtechnologies.com/idiom/index.htm
I put together a "K-3" kit and am very pleased with it.
>From Tony N2UN:
The CMOS Super Keyer is terrific. I've built and operated both an earlier
version and the current version. They are easy to build and operate. They
don't even require external power. I built the current version into an MFJ
keyer that comes integrated with a Bencher paddle. The keyer that comes
from MFJ is poor and didn't have memories, but the CMOS keyer is so small it
could fit inside the enclosure. The keyer will key any rig--either negative
or positive keying voltages.
The current version which Tony refers to is the 'CMOS Super Keyer 3'.
The CMOS Super Keyer 1 is published in the ARRL Handbook 1985 and 1986 and
consists of cheap regular CMOS ICs only. It has no CPU and no software.
The CMOS Super Keyer 2 has a CPU and the CMOS Super Keyer 3 is an
improvement with better hardware and software.
I decided upon the CMOS Super Keyer 3 before I received these
recommendations. The kit from the quoted Idiom website is perfect, although
the price is a little high.
Good luck
