Reminds me of a CW transmitter I built about 15 years ago,
a 6BA6 vfo driving a 12BY7A buffer/driver, driving a pair
of 6146B's on 40 meters. The finals had 300 v reg on the
screens and 1KV on the plates. Deep into class C and the
rig works very well at 180 watts output. I should dig
that baby out of the shed and play with it again. ;^)
