Hi:
I am in the process of "paper designing" part of a front end of a vacuum tube receiver. My goal is to inject a VFO input to the cathode of a tetrode mixer. What should be the signal vs. l.o (VF0) signal ratio? I don't want to "overpower" the mixer with the l.o. but I do want mixing action between the l.o./mixer/incoming signal. Let me know your thoughts on this and thanks.
Cal, N6KYR.
