Hi,
 Just came across this neat little gem.  Might not be what you are looking for but I am sure if the antenna was extended a bit a better
range might be had out of it, should at least cover your house,garden,shack....
Just a bit expensive in $NZ due to the exchange rate tho,  a pity.

I know that the magazine "Elektor" had a good stereo FM design for the purpose you require quite some years back and I should still have it
around somewhere, but will need to dig through many years of magazines to find it if you are still keen and have not had any other feedback.
