The problem with most of the 30$ range FM transmitters is that they're built around
the BA1404 (which IS a pretty nifty chip...low level audio goes in one end, stereo FM
comes out the other), with LC frequency control....which is drifty (I know this is true
with the Ramsey). They ALL sound remarkably good however.  One of the PLL
versions (Ramsey comes to mind) will give you decent frequency stability
but I think you up the ante to the 100$ range.
