I have been gathering parts for several years to build an amp. I have 
through various trades obtained a 4-1000 tube and chimney ( no socket)  and 
a 3-1000 tube, chimney and socket. I have all the other parts needed to 
build the amp.  I have all the parts to build a 3500v 1A Supply.

Which tube should I use?  Why?

If I build the 4-1000 does anyone have an air system socket they wish to 
part with?

Anyone recommend an amp design they favor and would be willing to copy and 
send to me?
