[HomeBrew] Max Charge Rate for GE Batts ?

Speaking of blowing up batteries....  Does anyone out there have experience
charging Lion (Lithium Ion) batteries with a home brew charger?   Have heard
they don't like being kept on trickle charge.   And, can explode if over
charged.  Any other tricks?
