Suggest you go to the "Amps" newsgroup.
There is lots on regulated high volts supplies there.
Or go to the www.ac6v,com  super site. Look under Amp projects and find Rich
Measures site. There is also a G on this site who produces high volt
regulator and amp protection kits.
