[HIham] MARS CME Communications Exercise, November 8-9, 2015

To amateur radio operators in Hawaii: MARS (Military Affiliate Radio 
System) will be holding a communications exercise with amateur radio 
operators this Sunday and Monday (November 8 and 9) in the afternoon and 
evening, exercising disaster communications following a solar storm 
(Coronal Mass Ejection-CME).

We received details of the national communications exercise yesterday 
(Friday) afternoon, and the corresponding approach for Hawaii were lined 
up. The arrangements for this event are fluid and subject to change.
