Between 11:00 pm and 11:30 pm last night, WH6FC at Ocean View, South Point and KH7DX at Kailua-Kona reported no wind and rain. NWS reported at 2:30 am, the center cell of Iselle made landfall 5 miles east of Pahala on the Kau Coast of the Big Island. Previously, landfall was expected in the 9:00 - 9:30 pm timeframe. Separately, the outlook for the storm was to diminish as it traveled South Point. Central Maui reports at 8:30 am via non-amateur radio blue skies, light wind and rain, calm oceans. Makiki reports at 8:30 am light to moderate and variable rain, winds 5-10 mph with gusts to 20 mph. Ron H
