Now would be a good time to check your preparations and review your Skywarn
training. The NWS Basic Skywarn Field Guide and other information are still
up on the Skywarn page.

Also, if you think there is a possibility of using them in your area, check
your sources of sandbags.

Hello Skywarn Spotters!

I would like to inform everyone of the recent issuances of the '2010 Cental
Pacific Hurricane Season and La Nina Update' and the 'Wet Season Rainfall
Outlook for Hawaii'. Both of these media advisories can be found at the top
of our webpage at http://www.prh.noaa.gov/hnl/ within the Top News of the
Day section.

We are expecting a wetter than normal period starting near the new year, but
that does not mean we will not have any hazardous weather before then. So,
we ask you to stay alert to any changing weather patterns!

Thank you,
ian
