Aloha,

ARES members on the Big Island are gearing up for this year's state-wide Simulated Emergency Test which will be held Saturday 3 October from 0900 to 1200 hours local time. We would like to invite every amateur radio operator in the state to get involved and help make this exercise an exciting and realistic training session.

Very soon we will begin an open discussion of what the exercise scenario will be and how the amateur radio response will be structured. This discussion will be conducted on the PacSecARES reflector. If you're not already a member of this Yahoo group, please consider joining so you can participate. We invite your comments and suggestions and will try to accommodate them into our plan as much as we can.
