HB 143 will have its decision made next Wednesday, February 18.  Apparently,
the committee realizes it would be best to change their definition of "other
electronice device."  Dennis Egge and I were there.  Dennis stood on his
testimony. I reiterated my testimony and gave further examples of "other
electronic devices" that would be impacted such as hearing aids, pace
makers, electronic devices for the physically challenged, and my digital
watch. Sharp ears heard talk that sounds like it will be favorable for
amateur radio operators.  Will continue to monitor the situation.Kevin,
