[HIham] Hawaii QSO Party

Hawaii hams,
Next weekend will be the Hawaii QSO party.
Ham radio operators from the mainland and all over the world will 
have their antennas pointed to Hawaii and will be looking for Hawaii QSOs.

Date/time:  Friday, Aug. 21, 9:00 PM to Sunday, August 23rd, noon (HST).

Although the series of state QSO Parties are set up as a contest, you 
don't need to send in an entry to participate.  Just get on the air 
and give out some contacts to other hams who want a Hawaii QSO.  As 
well as SSB and CW, there will operators looking for RTTY and PSK contacts.

The Ko`olau Amateur Radio Club is the host for the event.  Plans are 
being finalized for the Club to be on the air as KH6J.
