[HIham] Honolulu Marathon-2008

Aloha,
 
This years Honolulu Marathon will be held on Sunday 14 December 2008.
Race starts at 05:00am with race participants going from Ala Moana Park /

Ala Moana Blvd. through Downtown Honolulu, through Waikiki, out towards 
Hawaii Kai and back to Kapiolani Park for the Finish Line.
 
On behalf of the Honolulu Marathon Association we are asking for
volunteers to 
provide radio communications for the Start-Line, Aid Stations along the
race course, 
the Finish-Line area support, Support Vans as well as other areas as
needed.   
The communication coverage we would provide begins around 04:00am and
into the 
afternoon up until 3:00pm or so.
 
The following positions are needed:
NCS - 3 
Start Line / Technical Race Director’s Radio Communicator - 3 
Time Clock Coordinator’s Radio Communicator - 1
Aid Station Communicators – 14
Support Van Communicators – 7
 
 
If you have time to share and would like to volunteer Sunday morning and
if you 
know of anyone who may also be interested in helping out, please contact
me for 
additional information and to sign-up.  Will also need a shirt size info
for that volunteer 
shirt that goes along with a Kokua Race Staff cap.
