The Hawaii QSL bureau has recently been reorganized and Barbara NH7FY on
the Big Island is the new QSL manager (see notices recently posted on
reflectors). I've taken on the job of assistant QSL manager for Oahu and
I have the Oahu cards in my possession. Several boxes of QSLs have
recently arrived from ARRL. These cards are new to us but the contact
dates are mostly in the 2000-2005 range with some newer and some as old
as 1998.

We now have on file at the Oahu bureau cards for approximately 600
different callsigns with about five thousand cards total. Most have
only a few cards. Oahu callsigns with 40 or more cards that I have not
already contacted directly:

AH6A 70, AH6CD 50, AH6H 75, AH6HU 40, AH6IM 60, AH6NF 75, AH6OZ 50,
AH6PS 45, AH7U 210, KH6AKW 50, KH6ALF 40, KH6BO 165, KH6D 45, KH6DV 310,
KH6EV 80, KH6FQ 100, KH6IM 50, KH6IX 80, KH6K 40, KH6OJ 55, KH6QH 45,
KH6VV(KH6DV) 150, KH6XO 50, KH6ZZ 75, KH7D 50, KH7RS 40, NH6D 70, NH6DC
50, NH6HZ 45, NH6QJ 45, NH6S 40, NH6SL 45, WH6CC 65, WH6FA 55, WH6FB 50,
WH6NU 50, WH6O 90.

We need to cut down on the volume of cards we're holding at the bureau
and there are four options for dealing with them:

1. Send a check to Barbara to establish an account and ask us to mail
the cards to you. Checks can be made out to KH6 Hawaii QSL Bureau, and
mailed to: KH6 Hawaii QSL Bureau, Attn: Barbara Darling NH7FY, PO Box
1938, Hilo, HI 96721. To estimate mailing charges allow 10 cards per
ounce. Managers will supply envelopes and postage.

2. Go to one of the club meetings where the cards will be and pick them
up. These meetings currently are EARC, KARC, and HARC. Kevin AH6QO has
kindly offered to carry cards back and forth to these club meetings. He
will also bring the cards to special events such as KARC Field Day.

3. E-mail or phone me to arrange a time for you to stop by my QTH and
pick up the cards (see address and phone below).

4. Tell us (NH7FY and/or KH7JJ) that you do not want the cards. In
this case we may destroy them or may return them to the sender - we're
still setting procedures here. Be careful on this option - I've seen
quite a few rare prefixes go by in the sorting process.
