The next subject FCC examinations will be offered on Saturday, 17th May 
2008.
/Deadline to pre-register is NLT,( Not Later Than) 9 PM, Thursday, 15th 
May 2008.

/The time and exact examination session's location will be disclosed 
during your one-on-one pre-registration. Pre-registration is done by 
telephone, daily, between 9AM and 9PM this way it does NOT disturb the 
household. I trust you understand.

SORRY, no walk-ins, for obvious reasons as the number of assisting VEs 
will need to be scheduled based on number of candidates.

APPLICANTS REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
Bring with you two (2) identifications (IDs) these are required by both 
FCC and by VEC rules and regulations.

Applicants must  bring with them their originals and photo copies each 
of the following:

One picture ID (a Hawaiian driver's license counts for one, but NOT both).

A second ID with your Social Security Number an FCC & VEC requirement or 
a  IRS tax ID number may be substituted. Military ID, a company ID, a US 
Passport, your ID badge, or a photo copy of your payslip with your SSN 
printed upon it. This payslip will have to be turned into the FCC, so 
black out any and all personal information.

A current photo copy of your present FCC Amateur Radio License must also 
be turned in. These are to be turned into the Volunteer Examiner prior 
to any examination that will be given each applicant.
        
All FCC forms, question and answer sheets will be provided you at 
sign-in by the examination admistrator.

Bring scratch papers (which will be surrendered to the examiner).
Bring two (2) number #2 lead pencils,
One BLACK ball-point pen for FCC form completion.
Bring $14.00 US Dollars in cash. CORRECT CASH PLEASE.
Bring a hand calculator with its memory cleared.
Bring a photocopy of any CSCE for FCC elements previously earned. This 
copy will be surrendered too.

There is NO CODE test administered.
/There will be NO BREAK during these examinations. /So plan accordingly

practice exams are for Technician, General and Extra Class.

Outer Islanders are welcome, but pre-registration is a must first.

FINALLY, suggest you drink a large glass of orange juice to get your 
blood sugars to your brain.
Pre-registration may be accomplished by calling: (808) 247-0587 on the 
outer island, 247-0587 on O'ahu.
        
NEXT EXAMINATION SESSION WILL NOT BE UNTIL SATURDAY 19th JULY 2008.
