Just worked Cedric, WH7JI on Lanai City.  He has a Yaesu FT-2800, and 
passed his tech exam on Nov 14 at Oahu Civil Defense/CC-DEM.  He's brand 
new on the air.

Lanai City hasn't had an active ham in about 25 years.

Listen for Cedric on the State-wide VHF system, and he might possibly 
show up on the 146.88 repeater soon.  Welcome him onboard to the 
fascinating, new hobby, and encourage him up to the General bands and up.
