[HIham] sign-up & class dates/info for upcoming Kaimuki ham classes

To all:

Sign-up for upcoming Kaimuki ham radio classes (Kaimuki H.S. Adult Ed  
alias Kaimuki Community School for Adults) will take place AUGUST 11  
through 24.  Students MUST register at the school office.  Their phone  
is 733-8460.

Two classes will be held:

Intro/Tech license prep will be held on 8 Thursday nights starting  
September 13.  Text will be the Gordon West Tech prep book.  Cost $10  
plus book.

Intermediate/General license prep will be held on 10 Tuesday nights  
starting September 11.  Text will be (new/latest) Gordon West General  
prep book and (optional) 2007 ARRL Handbook.  Cost $10 plus book(s).

Looking ahead to 2008, I will be organizing ONE ham class per term,  
probably alternating the two classes above.  Comments appreciated for  
planning purposes.
