Reforwarding.
--------------
Ann, you missed watching Jim and I use the flashlights at Field Day.
Small, compact. It's ALWAYS attached to my belt on a holder....(unless
it falls off....hihi.)
As one of those who've searched long and hard for small, quality
flashlights, this is about as good as it gets. One could get a larger
Surefire for commercial applications, but as an average person, I always
keep one on me in case I'm out at night, or if the lights should fail in
an office building. Given that HECO these days could give a rolling
blackout without notice during the summer, it's worth having one of
these on your person in a pocket at all times.
Key features:
1) Single CR123 lithium cell good for up to ten years.
2) 2.5 hours burn time on a single cell.
3) DC-to-DC regulator maintains constant light output for the
functional life of the battery.
4) Very small size translates to compact and light..
5) Durable aluminum construction.
6) On/Off/signalling switch at the base of the light which can easily
be operated with your thumb to send morse code (heavens! optical shift
keying.....)
7) Light is white and very usable in the immediate area. Can
illuminate up to 150 ft in the dark, provided your night vision is good.
It is not a pocket maglight!.

Hi,
Now that there are so many batteries, you can buy the
battery holder for another $10 ...
maybe that's their intent!
sounds like a good deal - if the $ tree sprouts soon,
i'll order one. See you guys tomorrow @ the KARC
meeting?
