Hi All,

Happy Holidays.

This is a reminder that the annual KARC Christmas
Potluck is scheduled 
for Saturday, December 9th from about 9:30 am to 4:00
pm. We will post a 
note outside of our usual meeting place for those not
on the list or 
(like me) who are likely to forget the change.

We will be located in the same general area of the Niu
Camp Grounds way 
back near the end of the park but we have reserved the
new covered 
pavilion for this year (yea, no tents or coverings
needed).

As usual this is a potluck so bring something to share
and your
preferred beverage. If there is interest in having a
grill there let me 
know and I'll bring up mine.

We will be operating as usual. People who would like
to haul out
equipment to test or operate should remember that
antennas need to be 
self supporting or attachable to part of the
structure. We can't use any 
of the trees for support.

While this is a KARC event all hams on Oahu are
welcome. Spread the word 
to others and you can post this on the other Ham
reflectors if you have 
access.

Aside from hanging out, talking story, operating and
having fun Jan has 
been hard at work on collecting nominations for the
KARC Ham of the Year 
Award which will be presented with some (minimal)
fanfare.

So spread the word and plan to join us.
