This years Honolulu Marathon will be held on Sunday 11 December 2005.

Race starts at 0500 hrs. with race participants going from Ala Moana Park /

Ala Moana Blvd. through Downtown Honolulu, through Waikiki, out towards

Hawaii Kai and back to Kapiolani Park for the Finish Line.

On behalf of the Honolulu Marathon Association we are asking for 
volunteers to

provide radio communications for the Start-Line, Aid Stations along the 
race course and for the Finish-Line area support, as well as other areas 
as needed. The communication

coverage we would provide begins around 0400 hrs. and into the afternoon 
up until

1500 hrs. or so.

The following positions are needed:

NCS - 2

Start Line / Technical Race Director’s radio communicator - 3

Time Clock Coordinator’s radio communicator - 1

Aid Station communicators – 14

Support Van communicators – 7

If you have time to share and would like to volunteer Sunday morning, if 
you

know of anyone who may be interested in helping out, please contact me 
to sign-up or for additional information.
