HECO's BPL implementation.

Earle Ifuku of Hawaiian Electric Co. will discuss current technology, 
industry developments and HECO's initiatives in developing Broadband 
over Power Lines — an "intelligent electric grid of the future," capable 
of transmitting high-grade, higher frequency, voice communications over 
utility power lines — in a discussion Wednesday, sponsored by the 
University of Phoenix. Joining him in the discussion will be Ed Drew, of 
CURRENT Technologies. The free discussion is scheduled noon-1 p.m. in
