[HIham] BPL service in Honolulu begins soon

To all hams:

BPL service to 100 or more homes in the Pearl City area will begin testing
in January 2005 (see Honolulu Star Bulletin, NOvember 10, page C2).

The article makes BPL sound very appealing without mentioning any of the
negative impacts (including the disruption of HF amateur radio as we know it
today).

Let's get organized and document these negative impacts when the system
fires up!!!  Then we will have some valid documentary evidence to use in
whatever fighting we choose to do.
