I don't think a form letter is the best approach. A form letter implies
that you are part of an organization. There is a formula that if one
individual responds, then there is probably x number of others that feel
the same way that didn't bother to write. Groups try hard to "get out th=
e
vote" so all the forms they get are likely to be the full extent of the
group. Certainly a individual letter shows a greater effort (and stronge=
r
feelings) then a "fill in the blank" letter. I'm probably not expressing=

myself well, but to the best of my knowledge an individual letter carries=

more weight then a form letter.

Keep in mind that politicians frequently are the subject of manipulation.=
 =

The more polished your letter is, the more they may feel you're just
another manipulator trying to earn your paycheck. They are probably more=

responsive to an authentic-voter letter.

Bev, AH6NF has outlined the necessary elements that need to be in your
message. Just include those elements and you'll be fine. The most
critical part is the bill numbers (see subject) and that you are FOR them=
. =

After that, just offer your best as to why we need this, either because o=
f
events you're aware of or your own situation. As long as your letter is
legible and understandable, it's fine.
