[HIham] upcoming ham class (Leeward/Central Oahu)

To all Oahu amateurs and interested others:

Aimed at potential hams in the Central Oahu, Leeward and North Shore areas,
ham radio classes will be offered in the evening on a regular basis in
Waipahu starting September.

The first class ("Amateur Radio, Introductory") will be given at Waipahu
Community School for Adults (on the Waipahu High School campus) on Wednesday
nights for 10 weeks with a start date of September 10.

It is planned to offer this class in both Fall and the Spring terms.
Depending on interest, an intermediate level class may also be offered in
the future.

The scheduling and location of this class have been coordinated with ham
classes already ongoing in Honolulu.

Information and a course syllabus/schedule are available from me (see phone
and e-mail info below) or the school can be contacted at 675-0254.

The class is open to all, but you do have to get to Waipahu by 6:30 PM.
