[HIham] Single email list for Hawaii Hams

Hi Jim,

Because Oahu Civil Defense Agency is using just the Hawaii
yahoo list to disseminate news releases (e.g., tsunami
bulletins), those folks subscribed to just the hiham list
are missing out on some important info. And it's just not
OCDA that uses just the yahoo list -- I've seen other
important info posted to the yahoo list but not hiham.

Also, because their are two lists, (yahoo and hiham), to
get the word out to everyone in Hawaii involves duplicate
posting to both lists, which doesn't always happen (OCDA
example above).

Since the amateur community in Hawaii is (1) small, and
(2) geographically spread out among the islands, I think
it's important that all Hawaii hams be hooked up on the
same list. That way no one misses anything.
