[HIham] Rep. Abercrombie agrees to co-sponsor HR 4720

To all Oahu hams and interested others:

As a result of efforts by Koolau ARC and many others, Rep. Neil Abercrombie
has agreed to co-sponsor HR 4720 as of today.  Thanks to all.

But there is much more to do before the bill even comes close to final
passage.  Senatorial sponsor(s) are needed for the bill to even get started
in the "upper house" in Washington DC.

Even though I am no longer serving as ASM (Oahu), I will continue to work
this issue, as without some regulatory relief, amateur radio will not be
able to adequately serve its emergency commo mission in the future.
