Aloha,  propagation update:

Oct. 22nd at mid-day some interesting DX openings exist.
I will not bother to post the BeaconSee charts again, not
much point. But here are the high lights for operation/
searching in the middle of the day from Hawaii:

1.  20 meters open:  so-so across the US mainland and Canada;
weak to JA and mid-Africa, not to South Africa; pretty good
into the E. Mediterranean area, e.g. Israel; mid'lin to EU,
nada to SA.

2. 15 meters open: best band across most of US, Canada,
pretty good down to the South Pacific/ZL land; not as good
as 20 to N. EU; bit better than 20 to JA.

3. 10 meters open: nearly as good as 15 across US, actually
better to the East Coast now;  very good across Canada;
very good to the ZL/ West Pacific rim area, not too good to
SA; nada to EU, Africa and mid-East.

Solar numbers now, mid-day on Tuesday:

Flux = 169; A index = 14;  k index = 3 (planetary, globe wide av.)
