[HIham] ham swap meet (report)

To all Oahu hams:


The swap meet went very well !

We had 100 PAID ham attendance plus some non-hams.

We filled the parking lot.

There was quite a number and variety of sellers.

Lots of "talk story" and informal meeting other hams occurred.

4 door prizes were raffled off at 11 AM to an eager group of attendees !

Weather cool and overcast, a hint of rain failed to materialize.

The co-sponsors would like to thank all attendees for showing up
(especially the willing set-up and tear-down helpers) and also to thank John
Cummings (OCDA) for donation of door prizes.
 

CONCLUSION:

We definitely plan on having a follow-up event next spring, same general
format, probably same location.  Specific target date will be the first
Saturday of April, so mark your calendar !
