[High-Speed-CW] Intentional QRM?

I wonder how many folks have been victims of intentional QRM while in
QRQ conversations? Of course QRQ is a relative term, but I am talking
about speeds on the order of 50 wpm or higher. I have nearly daily
qso's with K6KX and probably at least once every few weeks someone will
get on frequency and interfere in a manner that is obviously intentional.
Sometimes they just set a keyer at a higher speed than they probably are
capable of sending and just send junk. Other times they actually make
comments. My impression is that the usual reason for their actions is
they are offended by the use of keyboards, particularly at higher
speeds. I'm sure that sometimes they think it is a two way "computer"
contact and are offended by that thought.
One time about 8 years ago, we only had one sked per week on 40M and one
of these individuals started finding us every week. We selected three
different frequencies specified by A, B and C. When the individual
showed up we could quickly pick another frequency and jump there but
this person would tune the band and find us and continue the antics.
Really impressive dedication to his cause. My recollection is that this
went on for about four or five weeks in a row before he tired of the fun.
Aside from the fact that these people have no concern about operating
illegally (obviously they never identify), I still have difficulty
understanding a mind that is so twisted. It just seems so strange that
they take offense at the pleasure of others.
I know there have been many threads on the net where people "discuss"
the use of keyboards, and many people are really opposed to others using
keyboards. But having such unreasonable feelings about how others
operate is a far cry from creating intentional interference. They are
welcome to their opinions of course and I could care less what they
think about my operations.
Recently in a slower speed sked at around 32 wpm using paddles, we had
similar interference. In this case I think the individual was upset at
the conversational "back and forth" qso style. We run timers on our
keyers and usually identify every 8 to 10 minutes, the same as in my
higher speed skeds. The nut case decided we did not identify often
enough and started "talking" to us about it. Really strange. Many
years ago in this same sked, someone actually broke in (I doubt that he
sent his call though) and sort of cussed us out for making him wait so
long to hear calls so he could see if we were any of his buddies. At
that point we probably were four or five minutes away from having
identified.
So, have any of you (how ever few are subscribed to this list)
experienced this sort of activity or should I be feeling paranoid?
