Ron you are not alone. I signed up and forgot about it due to no activity.

25 wpm is pretty respectable, and an excellent beginning. I've copied 30 wpm with a pencil by writing very small, and can read it faster in my head. The best I've done is short words at 50 wpm. I've read that there is no upper limit to reading cw, so there is hope for us.
Also I've queried several commercial RO's, and they mostly admit to about 50 wpm by using 'phones and hard concentration. However, those guys are good, and can copy anything. Years ago I tried to copy ship traffic, and very often their fists were so bad I couldn't copy them at all. They were trained to send blind, with no sidetone, so the bad fists were not surprising.
