Subject: [Henry] For Sale: Henry 3K Premier amp

I have a Henry 3K Premier amplifier for sale. It has a problem on 12M 
with arcing on the rotary inductor. Henry made a late production design 
change to fix this but is unable to supply the needed parts. I have 
photos of an amp which has these changes, and someone with better 
mechanical skills than me could probably fabricate the parts to 
implement it.

In other respects, this is a fine amplifier. It uses the rugged 
3CX1200A7 tube which is an instant-on tube, not requiring a 3 minute 
warm-up. It includes 160M and full QSK break-in with a vacuum relay. It 
has the heavy duty plate transformer used in the two tube Henry 5K, 
supplying 4400 VDC. You could run a RTTY contest all day without it 
overheating.

It weighs about 175 pounds and is pick-up only. The price is extremely 
negotiable. I have a NOS spare 3CX1200A7 tube which is also for sale 
with the amp if desired. I will not sell the tube separately as long as 
I still have the amp.
