I didn't think to look at the AL-1500, but you're right, turns only, which
does no one any good without diameter, TPI, etc.
I am at a loss as to why Henry used so much more inductance than needed. I
have checked my inductance meter against a known source and it's accurate.
If it comes down to it, I will remove enough turns to get it down where
it's in the range of the Berkeley calculations.
I might build up a breadboard pi network outside the amp with a 54 ohm
carbon resistor as a load, and try using my MFJ 259B to find a combination
of coil and caps to meet my expectations, then modify what's in the Henry
to the same.
