Sorry, I don't have that schematic. I have data for the 8877 & 3cx1200.
Acting up can mean anything:
Is it oscillating / unstable?
Those are transmitting doorknobs-the insulation could have punctured
Replace any "black beauty" caps with orange drops.
Check resistors
I'd conclude:
(1) Installed values were factory chosen.
(2) Henry Didn't document Production changes.
(3) Contact ARRL TIS. They may have diagram or product review
(4) Contact Ted Shannon @ Henry
(5) Other list members may have more input
