Hi Bill,

No "thunk" here.... although I had an Astron RS-70M power supply that used
to make an impressive noise at turn on... as did my Centaur amp <grin>.

The Henry is silent except for the sound of the breaker on/off switch being
flipped.  Then after a few seconds the fan starts to wind up slowly...
sounds like a GE turbofan starting up.  At about 30% fan speed everything
suddenly springs to life quickly.
