Hi Everyone
I have a pair of SA-2060 tuners. I bought them used over 20 years ago and
they are tanks that simply work and work very well.
I am having issues with the counter slipping on both units. One unit I
think I have solved, the other is a bit perplexing.
When rotating the inductor one way, the inductor physically moves closer to
the front of the unit. When rotating the inductor the other way, the
inductor physically moves closer to the rear of the unit. This causes the
two nylon toothed gears that turn the counter to un-mesh. Does anyone have
any suggestions on how to fix this?
Also, does anyone have a spare nylon toothed gear (that goes on the main
inductor shaft) I could purchase? The previous owner rammed a too big screw
down the hole that secures it to the shaft, and it will not tighten. Are
there metal replacements for those gears?
