Hi Vince

	Thanks for the info....
I don't recall what the cost was for the extra upgrade BUT I didn't request
a vanity call. I lived in PA at the time.

Hi

I'm working on my SB-634 console (clock).

I'm curious about the voltage from the (T1) main transformer.

I've measured the secondary at 170V AC and 205V DC after the rectifier.

Which to me makes no sense at all...

The filter caps and diode rectifier have been replaced .

The displays do lite up but obviously something is wrong.

            Any help would be appreciated

                        Bob NQ3N

I just looked at the primary to chassis and see the transformer is leaking
AC to the chassis so sot good..

I'll have to look for a replacement

Would be nice to know what voltage the secondary is, so could sure use that
info..

I'm thinking the secondary HV should be 230V to 250V

Next winding 20/24V

Last winding 13/14V

How much money did it cost to pick your own "two letter call" (example:
W3SY) in 1977, if you were an Extra Class licensee?
